R these results finalised? It is significantly lower than i d expected, that means i got like 50 percent on the final exam. There is no way

I submitted an Assessment 3 report and originally received 71/100. I was 1 percentage away from getting an 80 per cent in the subject so i figured i give it a try, which is also the difference between a B and an A grade. I requested a remark, argued that I deserved a few marks more here and there and I’ve now been told that the independent blind remark resulted in a final mark of 59/100, meaning my mark dropped by 12 marks.

I understand that a remark can increase, stay the same, or decrease, and that the remarked mark becomes final. But a 12-mark drop feels really significant, especially since the original marker gave 71 and the second marker gave 59.
