Just started flying Alaska/Hawaiian again after switching to Southwest when they entered the Hawaii market. I’m only ATMOS Silver but out of the last 4 flights I’ve taken the last 2 weeks I’ve been upgraded to FC on 3 of them.

LIH - HNL: FC Upgrade
HNL - LAS: Premium -self upgraded at 48 hours
LAS - SAN: FC Upgrade
SAN - LIH: FC Upgrade

Is this normal for silver or I just got lucky? I have a few flights in August LIH-SEA, SEA-AUS, AUS-SAN.
I should be gold by the end of August and Platinum by the end of the year. Thinking of opening up a business credit card as I have a lot of business spend.
