Understanding the timeline of PMDD
I've been (or was) seeing a girl for a few months. I had never heard of PMDD or had any issues with her until this last two weeks. She told me she had it and that the previous months she was more affectionate and that those were exceptions but that she usually gets full of rage, etc during this phase.
Anyway, we got through last week and it really wasn't that bad outside of one day where she was just more irritable but not really towards me. But things got very strange this week. Basically all of Mon-Wed has been like talking to a completely different person. It's been especially rough because she just doesn't seem to care about me or the relationship almost out of nowhere. We had a short trip planned for this weekend but it doesn't seem like it will happen because last we spoke (last night) she is still feeling disconnected. I believe her period started on Tuesday...how long until she starts feeling like herself again? We did sort of ambiguously break up last night. I couldn't take the coldness and she didn't seem to care. But I'm hoping in a few days she will be her old self again and we can maybe pick things back up where they were. Potentially even go on the trip.
