An associate gave me this model as a gift while I was visiting in Japan, didn't realized I needed to paint it until I finally opened it after I got home. Never painted a Gundam model before so I just treated it like one of my Warhammer mini's. Took a lot of gold layers to get it nice and even. Also had to deal with a broken hip joint and a limp wrist but nothing some glue can't fix.

Chose to paint it in Hyaku Shiki colours because I already have several red Zaku's in my collection and no proper Hyaku Shiki (not enough space in my suitcase to buy one while I was in Japan). The paints I used are in the last picture. The greens were just for the eye.

Got a nice random gift from an associate while I was in Japan, did not realize that all the plastic was only one colour and required painting. So I just pretended I was painting a Dreadnought from 40k (I've only painted Warhammer models till now).

I didn't have a proper Hyaku Shiki in my collection yet (and already enough red Zaku's on my shelf) so I went with the gold colour sceme with some silver and bronze mixed in. All in all it has been a fun week painting this model! (minus the left leg hip peg breaking and the gun hand being too loose, but nothing that glue can't fix!)
