Online I see people talking about how Sandy Shores is just Slab City. I can see that, but having lived in Los Angeles county, it feels more like Palmdale and Lancaster. If Paleto Bay is supposed to be Ventura then it would make sense that Sandy Shores would be the AV. Plus, Sandy Shores has that distinct "desert punk" vibe and it's not like it's "lawless". Cops are everywhere still and there's still law enforcement there. The only real case against the AV idea is that the AV is massive and Sandy Shores is not that big at all.

Okay I know this game has been out for more than a decade now but I'm still very new to the game. I finished the main storyline (great game btw) but I'm playing as Franklin tryna meet up with Lamar. I call him, he talks about meeting, and Franklin confirms he's gonna pick him up.

First, I go to Lamar's house (yellow house on Forum). He's not there.

I google and then it says "convenience store near the house". I reload my save and check every one near Lamar's house. Nope!

Then I go on YouTube and I see people (multiple videos) picking him up in this random street corner of Morningwood and Del Perro. He's not there either after starting over.

Forgive me for saying this but, ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!

Can somebody give me like some kind of consistent way to pick up Lamar or is Lamar a roaming Pokémon now?
