Question about notifying the Immigration when changing jobs

Hello. So I changed job for the first time in 2024 (current company). I did not know that time that I had to notify them as there was no changes with my visa type.
Fast forward, 2026. I found a new job (will start in 25th) and just learned that I have to notify them always.
I am still employed in my current company until 5/29 because of the paid leave that I have left.
Should I:

  1. inform the immigration now about my current job, and then inform them again once I have officially started in the new company?
    OR
  2. inform them after I am in the new company, and apologize for my ignorance when I didn't report about the 2nd company?

Also, should I now give up on PR application because of this? I am planning to apply in 2028. I have read some people who got rejected because of this. Dammit😭 i know i am at fault... hoping to find some light in this sub.

Are you going back to full onsite if employer offered you these:

So, my employer wants us to be back in the office. He offered me:

  1. they will shoulder all additional commute expenses. May it be gas, or bus, or whatever.
  2. $10k increase

Is it kind of a good deal?

I quit my company and just received my last payslip.
They did not include the remaining paid leave that I didn't use as they have pushed me to extend my stay.
For context it is a hybrid style small company, and they are trying to use that as an excuse not to give it to me.
It is true that we do not also account the working hours. Salary is fixed whether you finish in 2hrs or 12hrs per day. But since they dont keep records of such, they technically cannot just suddenly decide not to pay the unused paid leave, right?
I think that if they want to use that as a reason, they should be able to present to me that i worked xxxhrs per month, and that did not reach the minimum hrs per month, so they will deduct those hours from my paid leave.

We do not have HR. Payroll is being handled by a 3rd party accounting firm.
If they persist not to pay for it, can I report it to the labor office? It's almost 15 days of paid leave.

For those who use trains or buses, how long does your commute take?
I’m used to driving to work back home, so I would just like to get some perspective on the average commute time here in Tokyo.
