Hi, I'm going to be in Modesto for a good duration of the summer for work and I want to get out of the house as much as possible while I am here! Honestly speaking, I don't know personally of a lot of things to do in Modesto. I'll have a car for the summer and I'm willing to drive 30-45 minutes for anything fun nearby when I have the time. For current people there, what would you guys recommend? I love the outdoors, sports, movies, activities honestly literally anything I can do to get out of the house. Please let me know about any hidden gems or places to have fun! Theres always something out there no matter the city

EDIT: Would also love to hear your food spots and recommendations as well! Open to all types of foods!

I’m not graduating this quarter, but I saw on the UC Davis engineering Instagram that you can get an engineering ring if you are graduating. However, if you are a Computer Science major, you can only get the pin for the Pledge of computing professional. I was wondering if anyone who is also a Computer Science and Engineering major knows if they get the ring or the pin? I’m a CSE and I think a ring would be cooler, so I hope that when I graduate I can get the ring.
