A fellow widow friend came to me asking for an opinion about the guy she’s dating and his ex wife. Being we’re both widows and lack personal experience I’m curious about ex spouse dynamics.

She’s seeing a guy who has been divorced for 7 years. The guy and his ex wife are “friends”. Recently when the ex wife was in the midst of deciding to leave her long term boyfriends house she called her ex husband for in the moment advice and support. He told my friend they’re still very supportive of one another and discuss things like this. Thoughts on this?
