As per the title, I'm still waiting for the grant despite applying close to 6 months ago!

My situation:

• Currently on a 2-year 482 visa which ends in a couple of months
• UK doctor, no dependants or partner

Re 189

• EOI submitted October 2025
• Invitation received November 2025
• Application submitted 1st December 2025
• fully complete at time of submission with the health medical having been done in November and latest PCCs, etc

To date, I have heard nothing regarding my application, not even a S56. It still says "received" on my account.

Just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat or has thoughts as to why it's taking so long for a priority occupation? Should I get in touch with the Department of Home Affairs?
