Getting back into dating. Trying to figure out how people handle talking about background and logistics early on.

Life is pretty structured. Between a middle school aged kid, full time WFH, and a hobby that eats up a lot of weekends part of the year, my availability is limited and isn’t super flexible.

I don’t want to start out sounding like a list of limitations. Just trying to be upfront without overdoing it.

How do others handle this? What do you usually want to know right away vs. later? When does someone’s availability start to feel like a dealbreaker for you? How do you bring this stuff up without making it sound too heavy?
