This single volunteer plant popped up in a pot that was planted with catnip seeds on my catio. When the seeds germinated, I noticed that one popped up quite a bit sooner than the others and looked slightly different. I suspect it was this one, which is the only thing in the pot that’s flowered. It has a noxious smell when the leaves are crushed unlike the rest.

I’m worried that it’s a nightshade amongst my cats’ dope. I pulled it out, but the stem broke leaving the roots, so it’s likely going to show back up.

Central Florida, though I’m not sure that’s relevant as I’m pretty sure whatever this was had to have been in the seed packet.
