26F in Mumbai trying to restart career — looking for genuine WFH/chat/data entry opportunities (not customer service)
Hey everyone,
I’m 26F from Mumbai, currently trying to restart my career from scratch and honestly just looking for genuine advice/leads instead of judgment.
I don’t have a graduation degree, but I do have good communication skills, decent English/British accent skills, basic computer knowledge, and around 1 year of BPO experience. The thing is — I genuinely don’t want to continue in voice/customer service anymore.
I’m trying to move towards:
Data entry
Chat process
Backend/support roles
Remote/WFH jobs
Any non-voice work basically
What’s frustrating is how difficult it’s become to survive in Mumbai on salaries like 15–20k. Rent, travel, bills, family expenses — one salary disappears before the month even starts. And for women especially, finding decent opportunities without getting lowballed or judged for gaps/qualifications feels exhausting sometimes.
I’m willing to learn, work hard, and start fresh. I just need a real opportunity.
