Hi I got into Manchester university through clearing yesterday. I'm supper happy but now need to think about accommodation and know i will have to decide quickly. Can I have some advice please?

I'm not a social butterfly but would really like to make friends but I don't drink, so I think a quieter halls ith some social would suit me better.

I'd like to be fairly close to the uni. I'd like and en-quite but cost is an issue what are people's experience with shared?

I'm undecided on catered or self catered - thinking maybe catered is worth the extra cost and replaces weekly shopping?
