At the moment I am using Nuvio with Duck Streams and Xperience and it has been working very well.

I am wanting to create some extra profiles for family of various ages however unsure if I start adding APIs, trakt settings of my own is that all going to copy across into their profiles? I need to create a specific kids one with no access to content past G rated and a couple for some older kids.

Do they need seperate APIs, accounts with trakt or will it just work if I copy all of my settings over?

Both are on the same network, same user/profile, add ons settings etc however anything I watch on the MacBook works great but when it comes to then watching thing's on the 4K Max Firestick there is constant buffering issues. It will maybe work for a few seconds, pause and want to buffer again.

At first I thought it might have been the wifi but the firestick sits directly next to the wifi modem and struggles. Could it be a limitation of the Firestick hardware that is causing it?
