MCU vs TUA for BS Nursing: Which School Is Better to Choose?

Hello! I am an incoming 1st year college student, and BS Nursing is my preferred choice. I came from a middle-class family, and we live in Valenzuela City. I'm currently torn between choosing Manila Central University and Trinity University of Asia. I'll state the pros and cons between the two universities, and I badly need your opinions, kindly help a 1st year student out please in a balanced manner : )

Trinity University of Asia

Pros

  • Strong reputation for nursing education with 99-100% board passing rate in PNLE
  • Affiliated with St. Luke’s Medical Center for clinical exposure making it a Top Nursing School in the Philippines
  • Competitive academic environment that can sharpen skills
  • Gives me the fresh start feeling! New environment, New friends and away from the city I grew up
  • Located near U-BELT, my dream atmosphere for studying in college
  • My dream college + I already passed the NAT SLCN

Cons

  • EXPENSIVE tuition fees ranging from 58k-90k approximately per sem + other fees not included such as books, equipments, uniforms
  • 3+ hours total commute daily from Valenzuela to E Rodriguez, Quezon city (can't dorm until 3rd-4th year I guess)
  • Strict nursing standards and intense pressure to maintain performance since I heard po na they kick students whenever they don't make the cut
  • Smaller, more traditional campus compared to MCU, and the facilities itself are not that bad, but also not impressive
  • My parents are really against po from the overall location and tuition fees, they are my whole support system but I'm scared that they'll always remind me the cons of why I chose to pursue my dream school : (

My heart will always choose TUA and if ever tatry ko po mag-apply ng scholarship to lessen the burden of financial probs. But whenever I think of the cons napapaisip pa rin po ako kung kaya ko ba panindigan ang napili ko na university : (

Manila Central University

Pros

  • 75% scholarship granted, I just need maintaining grades : )
  • Much closer to our location and mas convenient kapag po masama ang panahon
  • Has a good reputation also in nursing, with an around 97% passing rate in PNLE
  • Wider campus and modern facilities, it's spacious enough, and halatang they take care of the campus environment
  • This university is my parents' preference, since malapit na, may scholarship pa, and they promise to support everything I need for Nursing if I choose MCU po

Cons

  • I consider this my practical university; it feels more like settling instead of pursuing the university I really want
  • Slightly not a fresh start, since medyo marami po sa past school ko ang lilipat dito

MCU is actually my backup school, since hindi po ako natanggap sa top univs like UP, PLM, and UST. After that, I decided to apply for a scholarship, and I was lucky enough to get in. It actually doesn't have heavy cons unlike TUA. It's also not a bad univ to settle, I just really see myself striving more in TUA SLCN, but nevertheless I'll still dedicate myself in MCU if ever : )

Note: My top goal in choosing Nursing is because gusto ko po makapagtrabaho abroad, I'm aiming to have 1 year exp here sa Pinas and then be a PNLE and NCLEX passer. I also see myself settling abroad. Please help me po in choosing what aligns to my situation and goals. I can accept honest opinions po basta hindi disrespectful. Thank youuu!
