Question - new and need help. Have never tried to post a video. Freaking out.

Hi. I'm a little freaked out. 🥺 I JUST took this video about an hour ago. I didn’t hear anything while shooting it except my dog eating and my fan, which you can hear faintly in the background. My TV was muted and I live alone.

I didn't hear the weird sounds at the start of the video until I played it back (the loud slurpy sound heard after the sounds at the beginning is me hitting my vape).

Sounds like something demonic. Just before I stopped recording, my dog went nuts over "nothing" in the corner.

The weird sound starts at about 7 seconds in, and the last really faint sound is around 24 seconds in.

Can y'all hear it? What are your thoughts, please?

Question - new and need help, please. Freaking out.

Please forgive my ignorance. I want to upload a video with sound that I just took because I need to know if I'm the only one hearing these sounds and what they may be. The video icon is grayed out when I try to post it. Thank you.

Update: I was able to post it in r/ParanomalEncounters but was treated very harshly there and belittled for even asking my question there. I'm going to try again here because the video icon is no longer grayed out.

The video is under the kind responses I received here, a little further down. I couldn't add it to this original message.

This intro is very long because I want to try and avoid the abuse and dismissiveness I received in the other sub.

Please let me explain and clarify what the other sub didn't seem to understand and were accusing me of. They were focusing on my quirky dog. He had nothing to do with what I was trying to ask.

  1. My question had absolutely nothing to do with my dog or his eating habits. He is fine, there is nothing wrong with him, he is not in pain, he is not suffering or being shocked by his bowl. He has eaten like this since I got him as a puppy, whether out of a bowl or off of a paper plate.

I usually feed him off of a plate because he likes to tip bowls over. We were gifted this cute little bowl with his name on it and I wanted to use it. I've been working with him and this bowl for about 3 weeks and was recording to document how much better he's doing with at least not tipping the bowl over. Which is why you hear me saying, "Good boy" and "Thank you" in the video.

He still likes to grab a bite and run away and eat it, or a mouthful and throw it all around and go eat each piece wherever it lands lol. It's almost like a game to him. He's a silly little guy. I think this may be from him being the runt and maybe having to dive in between the other pups and grab bites when the breeder fed them all together?

My question has to do with strange sounds I hear at the beginning of the video that I did NOT audibly hear WHILE recording it.

  1. I also explained in the other forum that I'm incredibly hypersensitive to sound, not just loud noise, due to hypervigilance and trauma response from childhood abuse and a 20 year abusive marriage that I am not long out of.

Even while asleep. The smallest sound will wake me up. Loud or semi-loud sounds ALWAYS physically startle me. I register nearly any unexpected or unfamiliar noise, and my body reacts. And ALL loud noise will do this to me even if it IS familiar or expected.

Most people thought it was a motorcycle or my carbon monoxide detector needing batteries.

I get the motorcycle or loud exhaust suggestions. But it just didn't fit with my sound hypersensitivity. I even said I would go with that suggestion just to ease my mind. And they were still unkind and called me an asshole for posting video of my "suffering" dog in their forum.

My carbon monoxide detector is working fine.

And I always register and am startled by any passing motorcycle or loud exhaust which is why I felt certain IF it was a motorcycle or loud exhaust that passed WHILE I was recording, my body would have registered and reacted like it always does when a loud vehicle passes by.

I was immediately shocked and startled when I played the recording back because what I hear sounds like gutteral, distorted words or growling to me. And there was no audible sound to me WHILE recording except soft hum of my fan, dog eating and the sound of me using my vape.

  1. Rude comments were made about my vaping also. I have used it to stop a 30 year, 2 pack a day cigarette habit, am down to 3 mg of nicotine and am now tapering off of that to be done completely. Nothing else.

  2. It's a short video and I watched it immediately after recording it, so I didn't audibly hear the sound and then "forget" it.

  3. I am not a bot, which I was accused of in the other sub.

Thank you for your patience if you've read this far.

I just wanted to explain it all at the beginning so I wouldn't be ridiculed and the focus would not be on my dog's silly way of eating, but on the sound I heard.

The original question I posted is below. Please be kind. Even if you think it is a motorcycle or I'm overreacting.
