Custodian here. Dealing with accusatory management and need advice

So it’s been an ongoing problem in my office according to the supervisors that supplies has gone missing randomly.

Today, i came into the office and was told that they want me to grab what supplies I need and turn in my key to the supervisor as I’m not allowed to hold on to it anymore during my shift. They said it’s because boxes of gloves have gone missing and the only unaccounted for key is mine and the other custodian.

If this was a singular instance I would understand, but these accusations have been happening practically every month and I’m not stealing anything from the supply closet. But I am tired of being accused regularly as well as being told to turn in my key when this happens which just makes my work more difficult. Seeking any advice out there if there’s anything I can do.
