Hello all. I'm seeking some advice on a potential line for my father in law. The line is:

GP and GM born in Italy in the late 1880s.

M born in USA in 1927

Father in Law, born in USA in late 1950s.

Nuance--> GP naturalized in the US in 1920. GM was derivatively naturalized but did not directly naturalize.

Is this a valid 1948 case due to the derivative naturalization of grandma?
