Parking under the sun has been getting brutal lately and I’ve been trying to find a proper windshield sun shade that actually makes a noticeable difference, not just something that looks good in ads.

I’ve used the cheap foldable ones before and they help a bit, but the car still feels like an oven after a few hours. Some people say reflective multi-layer shades work way better, while others say fit matters more than material because gaps around the edges let too much heat in anyway.

Now I’m seeing a lot of options like accordion-style shades, custom-fit ones, and thicker reflective foam types. Not really sure if the more expensive ones are actually worth it or if it’s just better coverage that makes the difference.

Also curious if foldable ones really hold up long term or if they lose shape after being used daily.

Trying to figure out what actually keeps the interior noticeably cooler instead of just slightly reducing the heat.

Starting to feel like the advice around foot creams is all over the place.

One person says just use any thick moisturizer with socks, then someone else says urea creams are the only ones that actually work, then others bring up those peeling masks.

My heels have gotten pretty dry lately. Not super bad, but enough that it’s noticeable and regular lotion isn’t doing much anymore.

I’ve tried a couple random creams before and they mostly just make it feel softer for a bit, then it goes back to the same dryness the next day.

Now I’m just trying to figure out what actually helps long term vs what just feels nice at first.

Budget is flexible, just don’t want to keep buying stuff that ends up being the same.

What actually worked for you that made a real difference after using it consistently?
