I got this error last summer while I was away camping and sort of got around it by rebooting the phone and then plugging in the charge cord. After a few weeks, even this didn't solve the issue and I had to purchase a wireless charger to charge.
When I got home I took it into a licensed "fixer" who ran diagnostics and said phone was ok and it probably needed to be factory reset. He said some of the UI upgrades may have caused this.I wasnt really into that option but relented and proceeded to make sure my photos etc were backed up. However some of my directories for photos did not show in my backup, found a thread on the samsung site that told me I had to move my photos collection from DCIM to /pictures. I did this and was able to backup all my pictures to.my gmail account.
For shits and giggles I tried to charge my phone with a cord and it worked... for like 3 months and boom, it started with the moisture detected in the USB port. I moved some pics again and it solved the issue.
Has anyone had the same experience?? What would moving pics from one directory to another fix this nuisance error.
Anyone else ??
