Are young guys completely against anonymous chatting?
I started realizing this might be an age gap thing. I’m like an old gen z to young millennial age. But anonymous chatting on Grindr used to be such a fun thing. And i remember it to be the times I made the best connections. It wasn’t about the face. Maybe we had some torso pics or something maybe. But that was enough. To know we were probably hot enough to fool around with if we liked eachothers personalities. Nowadays they all expect to see your face. I don’t have an ugly face. Far from it. But true magic of those moments I used to have are lost because they want a face pic right away. And then you don’t look like their ideal. Which I feel like most people don’t end up with their ideal. They end up with someone they connect with.
So I think the magic of this is lost. But tell me if I’m crazy or whatever. I’m sure there’s a lot of young people in this sub that’ll tell me so.
