7" Pliers Wrench ES - I bet not many of you have one of these? (considering making more to sell)
I have two pairs of 7" pliers wrenches and a month ago I was like - why doesn't anybody make an ES pliers wrench??? So I did.
Presenting; the KNIPEX Pliers-Wrench ES!
length: 7"
Jaw opening: 1.5"
Jaw thickness: 0.12"
This was my first try, and I am confident that I can get a far better result on the next attempt, but I created this tool by milling a KNIPEX 180mm pliers wrench down to my desired thickness, tig welding the lower jaw connection point for extra strength, and grinding that down to an imperfect but decent finish.
I would love to hear any thoughts or ideas you have, any better ideas for how to make them? how to fixture them?
and finally, I am considering making some (with a much better finish quality) to sell. I would like to know first though, how many of you would buy one of these if I was to sell them for around $150 apiece? I would also like to know if you think I should make them chromed or black atramatized? (chromed ones would probably be slightly more expensive)
If you want to buy one, start your comment with "ES please"
I am looking forward to seeing what you guys have to say! and if you have any questions, be sure to ask. (-:
