So my fiancé and I had just found out that we are pregnant. He leaves for active duty orders for a year at the end of this year (he’s normally non-active). And I’m due to give birth mid January. He’s contacted some people above him to get guidance. We were looking into getting access to DEERS. We know he should come home around time of my due date.

I’m left wondering what if I give birth early? Would he have to return to orders after giving birth? And I’m lost wondering what resources I have being pregnant from month 5-9. I just keep thinking about how much it’ll suck. Has anyone experienced something similar?

Edit: we intend on getting married before he leaves
