Hey everyone,
I'm posting this on behalf of my younger brother. He is currently a BSc Computer Science student in the UK, looking for a placement or internship opportunity.
He has had some great success at hackathons recently (including a Track Win at a Cambridge hackathon!), but he's struggling to get past the initial CV screening phase when applying for industry placements.
I've attached his anonymised CV. We would massively appreciate any harsh truths, formatting advice, or tips on what he might be doing wrong. Is the structure okay? Does he need more projects?
Also, if anyone knows of any companies still hiring placement students in the UK (or remote), please let me know! Thanks in advance for the help!
