Passed at 85, first attempt!
Took my exam at 1pm today, stopped at 85 at 2:30pm and got my license at 4pm!
I'm making this post because I doubted myself throughout studying, really didn't believe I'd pass especially because of my scores on bootcamp. I used Kaplan throughout nursing school, did 2 CAT exams (1 near average, 1 above average), Nclex bootcamp (56% average, 1 high, 3 borderlines), Mark k video 12. I studied for a total of 9 days (did 50 questions a day the 2 days before today) and did 1400 questions. Do not get discouraged by those readiness exam scores like I did, I've had friends who had very highs who didn't pass yet I did with my borderlines. (I'm not saying this to discourage people who are also scoring high on the readiness exams- give yourself time during the exam, do not go fast!!) Give yourself a break while studying as well, do not burn yourself out.
Now on to the exam,it was very VAGUE. I always wondered what people meant by that but the questions are very straightforward & short. I will say it was very easy to come down to 2 questions but picking between those 2 was the hard part. I know people say its a safety exam but in my case if you do not have a good concept of major things you learned in nursing school the chances of passing are low, there was critical thinking involved but you had to know the basics of the concept to get it right. I did have ekg strips so brush up on those!
GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE
