Hunting the invincible Rav4
I read a 6m old post where someone asked about 4x4 in Ireland. I've been thinking and looking for something long so though to just ask.
I wished to buy a Land Cruiser 100 series but my budget will not allow it in near future as well. I recently saw a 1st gen Rav4 on Donedeal and spent way too much time researching about it. When I finally messaged the person, it was already sold. Literally broke my heart. It is exactly the vehicle I would want for me right now. Simple enough but still has a/c, AWD, some also have a sunroof which I would admit I desire, etc. I must have watched 100s of videos of a 5 door 1st gen Rav4 and I do like it quite a lot.
My question is, how do I find one in Ireland? I keep checking all the sites and market place but I never see any of these ever. They are available in plenty in UK but importing them would make them too costly, I suppose. They can be found for less than 2k pounds in UK and in US they're way too cheap as well. If I buy one, it'll remain with me till one of us, me or the Rav4, finally gives up on life.
For context: I drive my wife's car and she will soon start driving on her own. I was planning to buy a used SUV for myself but Rav4 changed my mind so far.
