Recently one of my good friends of 10 years and I took a step forward in a more romantic relationship. Over the past four years I have noticed him liking me but the feeling wasn’t mutual. We went on to have other relationships.
Fast forward to this year, we had a drunken kiss which led to us always texting, flirting and seeing each other. I would pick him up from nights out he would take me out for coffee. He was always a clingy golden retriever, always texting, asking how my day was, telling me how gorgeous I am, being really nice.
When he went back to uni after Easter, there was a Saturday night we were both drunk and ended up sexting the whole night. We both sent photos, seductive texts, his replies to me were saying he loves my body.
But now he is in proper ghost mode, not to be a stalker but his snap score is going up and I’m on delivered for over 29 hours.
Mind you he was never ever like this, he was the one who chased me but the minute I give in he is gone. I just want my best friend back.
Am I overthinking? Is he just revising for exams?
