He’s right. Gunn’s Diaperman is inconsistent.
He saves squirrels but knocks a humans face so hard a tooth comes out. Lasers humans who fall from high in the air. He murders his clone but cries for a Kaiju.

This is why Diaperman is actually a cynical film at heart. It pretends to be hopeful and bright but deep down you can see gunn hates the goodie goodie hero, makes fun of him non stop, and makes him the weakest superman ever written. (Unless you truly believe he went undefeated for three years which would make him the most powerful superman ever written.)

Super girl dropping like a stone in water

Looks like the poop eating clip isn’t moving the needle on this one.

So Superman revitalized the brand so much that supergirl bombed? What’s the logic here? Gunn is Co-CEO and it was his brilliant idea to release a supergirl movie right after a superman movie.

Ignoring that audiences are drawn to heroes with cool unique powers. And supergirl has all of Superman’s powers, making her a redundant hero to watch in a movie. ESPECIALLY only one year after superman.

Gunn is the dumbest producer in Hollywood.

I expect projections to keep dropping.

Reminder: After BVS, wonder woman made 800M and Suicide Squad made 700M or so.

Thats what happens when general audiences actually like the launch of a universe.

Marvel stayed pretty close to its road maps even if they added a film or two.

How else does one explain such horrid execution of a plan?

And why would Gunn create this road map without any scripts completed? If indeed, “nothing is greenlit without a perfect script.” Then why even mention these other projects?

Should Hollywood ban creatives from the CEO position?
