I have been listening to TTPD AND LOASG back to back and noticed an interesting change in her lyrics that I wonder if Taylor herself observed:
The Prophecy:

Change the prophecy

Who do I have to speak to
About if they can redo the prophecy?

Babe, I would trade the Cartier for someone to trust... just kidding.
I think it’s part of the human experience to be so desperate for something that you are willing to sacrifice everything but once you have that something, you revert to your old self who doesn’t want to give up anything. This is not an insult to Taylor at all, I’m a swiftie through and through, I just found the contrast interesting and was wondering what everyone else’s thoughts were.
