Outdoor wooden playset query

Hi all, we have 3 under 4 and expecting no 4 in the next year, so the value we think is there for buying on the better quality side.

We have been looking (for ages) at the likes of Gepetto / andrews garden furniture/ backyard playhouses etc and have a fair idea of what we'd like for our own place.

Our question is this-to anyone who has them, did your kids play with the wooden house on the platform, or in hindsight did you think they could have done without it and only went with the tower kind? There's a fair difference in price between the two so we're thinking we'd love them to get the use out of it otherwise add in something else to the set up.

Thanks in advance for any advice, experiences or recommendations!

4th of 5th baby experiences

Hi all, 3 small babies, 4 to 1, thinking of 1 more, but on the fence for all the usual reasons.

Has anyone had any experience going for a 4th (or 5th) around their 40th year (or above)? I'm physically fit and pregnancy goes pretty ok.

We are financially secure, stable relationship, support, love kids. Not going to base any huge decisions off others experiences, however I do find it helpful to hear from those with bigger families rather than those with 2 saying they think we're mad etc etc.

Thanks in advance!

*I meant 4th OR 5th in the post title!

End of October hol in south of France/Portugal

Hi all.

Family of 5, with little children, (two toddlers and baby will be 1) not going anywhere in the summer but hoping to take them away end of October / November.

Any recommendations on areas in South of France/Portugal where it might be warm and family friendly?

Any recs welcome. We haven't taken them away yet. We are outdoorsy and they are chilled and happy as long as they can have a play around. Doesn't need to be a lot of evening 'entertainment' because, well, bedtimes.

Potentially extended family interested in going so maybe something near a beach /cycling areas /pools.

Tia.

Marking conference Athlone

Hi all, for anyone travelling to Athlone for the conference and it's a two hour drive, do you generally stay over the night before somewhere in the town or just drive up on the morning? First time attending, not sure how to claim the expenses or what's best to do. I'm over 2 hours drive away. Thanks in advance for any replies.
