My son (18months) is very active. He was very calm as a baby but now he wants to grab and get into everything. I work from home so I put him in a big playpen that we’ve set up. He’s basically almost broke through it at this point. My boyfriend (his dad) works nights so he really doesn’t help much at all. I don’t have any other help and I refuse to put him in daycare due to several incidents that have happened in daycares around my location. He’s not talking at all and only makes moaning noises, screeches, and unintelligible sounds. I don’t know what else to do. I won’t put him in a daycare for aforementioned reasons. I do what I can with him after I get off work but it doesn’t seem to make a difference. Not sure what I can do. I’m also 41 and had him at 39 which means there’s no one I know with babies or especially kids his age, if that helps.
