IIT Madras Thermal & Fluid vs IIT Bombay Thermal & Fluid vs IIT Delhi Industrial Engineering – Which should I choose for placements?

Hi everyone,

I have admission opportunities in the following programs:

  • Indian Institute of Technology Madras – Thermal & Fluid Engineering
  • Indian Institute of Technology Bombay – Thermal & Fluid Engineering
  • Indian Institute of Technology Delhi – Industrial Engineering

My primary consideration is placements and career opportunities. I am interested in both core and non-core roles, and would like to understand:

  1. Placement statistics and average packages
  2. Opportunities in consulting, analytics, product, and software roles
  3. Core engineering opportunities after graduation
  4. Brand value and alumni network
  5. Long-term career prospects

Which option would you recommend and why?

Thanks in advance!
