Is there anyone here to say if I am wrong about that our Lord's name should be transliterated differently in English, for me it sounds more like "Ellah" than "Allah" when pronounciated correctly, because hamza wasl is always pronounced with fatha when starting the name. So in this case of our Lord's name first hamza wasl is pronounciated with a short vowel fatha, which sounds like something between "a" and "e", but sounds more like "e". Maybe I am missing something...
