AITA for getting mad at my friends?
Am I the asshole for getting mad at my friends recently my friends left me in school to do senior ditch day and go to the movies without me. I feel like I was rightfully angry I called one of my friends and asked where they were. He said “they didn’t tell you?” and I said “tell me what?” he told me to check the group chat. when I went to check the group chat there were messages that were sent at 12:00 a.m. that stated that they were trying to find something to do. They were putting suggestions in the group chat but NEVER A DATE (I was sleep) I didn’t see the said messages until I was already in school. After I got out, my friends were outside of schooI waiting to say hi to their other friend and I had asked them. Why didn’t they tell me they said “we said it in a group chat” and I asked them well why couldn’t one of you text me or call me they didn’t have an answer for that. So I called my best friend who also went and ranted(yelled) to him about how I didn’t see the messages and how everybody had left me alone, and he kept telling me that he found out from the group chat too, and so I asked him. Why didn’t he call or text me, and he had no answer. He just kept saying I found out from the group chat too, and got angry/annoyed and hung up on me and is now refusing to talk to me. Am I the asshole?
For context, THEY MADE UP THERE OWN SENIOR SKIP DAY. Everybody else was in school, except for these people. The school’s senior skip day had already passed. I never blamed anyone just asked why no one told me.
also, for everyone saying that it’s unbelievable that a highschooler wouldn’t wake up and check their phone, not everybody is addicted to cellular device just saying🤷🏽♀️.
