Scammed by “Pants by basics”
Hey guys, making this post so that people that plan to buy from this site have a review on how cheap their products are.
I was browsing social media and came across this “premium linen pants available”, so i head to this “Pants by basics”(not basics life) website and ordered a pair of “linen lowers” pants. The experience since the day i received the package has been horrible
- Horrible fabric: they said premium linen, i doubt if its even linen. It feels cheap and rough. And they are NOT cheap, got for more than 1500 /- a piece.
- Weird sizing: order both for 30 and received a 32 and a 30. And to my surprise the 32 one is narrow and fits better than 30 lol (my size is 30 btw)
- No bill/invoice: i checked the package and everywhere but never found a bill, no invoice nothing. I should’ve understood that i been scammed right then
- No branding: the clothing doesn’t have no branding or anything, it’s just plain cloth with a size tag that too isn’t accurate. It feels like cloths sold on a footpath but even they got a tag/brand name on them lmao. The one shown in website is way different than what I received (check the images i have attached)
- Bad customer care: so reached out to them and i think it just one guy behind this site. He kept apologising but not accepting for a refund. Kept saying that the stock will refill next week and now he doesn’t even respond
If you see their ads on Instagram or anywhere, do not buy. Save yourself the headache.

Edit: i noticed that the parent company is “perfect stitch”. I feel it’s better to avoid buying from there as well
