I was so excited to find this beauty at a chain store! I let out adjust to my home a couple weeks, and repotted it. It did have gnats, which I treated and seem to be gone. A week after repotting a new leaf is rolling out (woohoo!), but a little leaf died. I removed it and found that it had root rot. I cut off the rotted parts with sterilized scissors and dipped the bottom in honey to attempt to give it some protection. The node is dug out. Is there any hope for survival? I'm so disappointed. I'm not sure if it has any guarantee, but I no longer have the original pot or receipt anyway.
