Garmin vs Coros – Which watch fits my use case better?
Hi fellow sports enthusiasts,
I’ve been thinking about getting a smartwatch / sports watch for quite a while now. Right now, I’m trying to decide between a Garmin or a Coros watch.
I’ve read so much and watched countless videos — but now I’d really like to hear from people who actually have hands-on experience with these watches. So I’d really appreciate your advice and recommendations :)
Here’s some important info:
Previous experience
A few years ago, I had the Apple Watch Series 4 and was generally happy with it.
However, I really don’t like the design, and the battery life is honestly a joke.
How I plan to use the watch
- I want to wear the watch 24/7
- Strength training / gym workouts 2x per week
- Running 2x per week for cardio
- Cycling 1x per week for cardio
- It should also handle hiking, swimming, and all the standard workout activities
Features I care about
- I’m not listing the “standard features” like step counting, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, etc.
- Heart rate tracking incl. alerts for abnormal heart rate
-Resting heart rate
- Sleep score
- Fitness age
- Body battery / recovery metrics incl. stress tracking
- Thermometer / temperature tracking
- Better battery life than an Apple Watch :D
Thanks in advance for your help!
Cheers
McFly
