Built a free HSE IVF eligibility checker for Irish couples based on 2026 criteria

For anyone in Ireland navigating the HSE publicly funded IVF scheme . I built a free interactive eligibility checker at ovulationcalculator.ie based on the exact current HSE criteria.

Covers age, BMI, residency, the one child rule update from June 2025, relationship requirements, and sterilisation criteria. Takes 60 seconds.

Also includes:

  • Free ovulation calculator adjusted for cycle length
  • GP referral prep sheet (downloadable)
  • Guide to all 6 HSE Regional Fertility Hub locations
  • IVF cost breakdown for private clinics

No ads, no sign-up, no data stored. Just built it because the information was scattered everywhere and hard to find.

Hope it helps someone 🍀

Advice on rehoming dog? 🐶

Hi everyone, I’m looking for some urgent advice or leads.

I moved house last week into a situation where I unfortunately cannot bring my dog with me.

For the last three months, a family member had promised to take him in, but they changed their mind the very week I was moving out. I’m now in a position where I’m stuck and need to find him a new forever home or a long term foster family as soon as possible until I can find a different place to live .

About the dog: Breed: Border Collie Age/Sex: 2-year-old male Personality: Extremely friendly, lovable, and great temperament.

Energy Level: Very high & reactive if not giving the attention he needs. He needs an active family or someone with space where he can get the exercise and mental stimulation he needs.

I want to make sure he goes to a home that understands the breed and won't just leave him in a backyard.

If anyone knows of reputable rescues with space, or has advice on how to navigate this safely, I’d really appreciate it.

I’m located in the Kildare area but am willing to travel to ensure he gets to the right place. Thanks in advance for any help

Picked up a lapsed UK county athletics association domain .Wikipedia backlink, 125 referring domains, original org passed. Open to offers

Registered greatermanchesteraa.co.uk after it lapsed.

Did my research before building anything turns out it's the former official domain of the Greater Manchester Athletics Association, a county body affiliated with UK Athletics and England Athletics.

What it has: Wikipedia citation linking directly to the domain (DR 97 referring page)

125 referring domains, 2,800 backlinks Listed in official UK athletics directories

Historical results and records tied to the domain going back years

Reached out to the original organisation first they passed. So it's available.

Would suit: A running events company targeting the North of England

A local sports media/content play Someone building a niche affiliate site in the running/fitness space

A running coach or club wanting instant local authority

Not looking to get rich on it ,just want it to go somewhere useful. Open to sensible offers Drop a comment or DM if interested

I registered an expired.ie with DR 14 and industrial backlinks. Original owner (end-user) just reached out. Advice on valuation/negotiation

Recently acquired a dropped .ie domain in a specialized construction/eco niche. The Asset: DR 14 (Ahrefs) Backlinks: ~250 total. Several high-authority "dofollow" links from major international manufacturers and local industrial giants. Traffic: Still receiving referral hits from legacy technical docs and directories. The Situation: The original owner (active business with a physical warehouse and trade accounts) reached out via registrar inquiry. They are using a personal Gmail, likely because their professional email is down.

The Ask: I’m aiming thinking 4-figure payday given the industrial SEO equity and business disruption. Is this realistic for this niche?

I have a legitimate niche project concept, but what’s the best way to frame the negotiation to avoid a legal dispute while maximizing the "convenience fee"?
