I'm considering Chandigarh University for BTech CSE. I need genuine feedback from current BTech CSE students or recent graduates.

1. Current Year & Branch?
2. Academics & Faculty: How is teaching quality, attendance policy, labs, and workload for CSE?
3. Placements (CSE): Realistic average package for average/prepared students? How much does self-prep (LeetCode, projects, CGPA) matter?
4. Campus Culture & Crowd: Studious environment? Easy to find motivated friends or is it distracting (parties, etc.)? Clubs and hackathons?
5. Hostel & Daily Life: Food quality, room, rules, safety, overall vibe?
6. Biggest pros and cons for someone like me who wants to grind skills without getting distracted?
7. Would you choose CU again? Any advice for freshers?

Positive + negative both welcome. Decision and education loan process is very urgent, so thank you in advance for real experiences!
