seller won’t initiate refund

hi, all. i feel like this really isn’t a big deal, but i find it annoying and infuriating and i guess i want to feel validated because i want to leave a bad review?? i sent an offer on a clothing item on may 28th, seller accepted the offer. i sent a message to verify what was on the size tag, as the brand sizes clothes as S/M, M/L, L/Xl, etc. She verified the clothing was the size I needed, so I bought it. The next day, she asked me if I still wanted her to ship it because it’s not actually the size she told me. I told her no, it’s okay, just go ahead and refund me. And nothing.

The next day, I saw she had been active and I reached out and asked if she’s initiated a refund. I’ve never dealt with this on depop, I’m pretty much exclusively a seller, so I wasn’t aware if you’d get notifications every step of the way, or whatever. She doesn’t respond.

The day after, she messages back that she doesn’t know how to do that and she just wasn’t going to ship. I didn’t want to make a big deal out of it, because yeah, I’m getting my money back. But the process is going to start a whole week from now. So, I messaged her back yesterday and told her I would appreciate if she could start the process, and then gave her specific instructions on how to refund. No response and she’s been active this morning. I’m frustrated and don’t want to be called a “broke-y” for continuing to reach out. Like, girl… just push the refund button, it is not that hard. And I literally explained to you HOW to do it.

I know this isn’t a HUGE deal, people deal with way worse stuff on this app literally every day, but this is my first annoying encounter on depop. She hasn’t like said anything rude, but I’m kinda pissed off because why can you not just refund me instead of letting depop do it 10 days after I purchased, if you know that you’re not shipping it and I no longer want it due to the incorrect information that you told me… I don’t know, I’m frustrated. Is a bad review warranted?? I’ve never given one, but I really want to give one to her. Am I being too impatient? I feel like pressing the two buttons necessary to initiate a refund is really not that difficult to do.
