What have you spent on your mini pond? Im just realizing how crazy this can get. Walked out with fish and plants, spent way more than I thought I would. Here's to hoping everything lives a long time. Haha
How are we overcoming it?
My favorite admin is leaving. I knew it was coming. All positive things and I'm happy for her. In anticipation of her leaving I've been trying to get everything ready and take over things. I haven't even started to interview to replace her. The delay is because she is going to be hard to replace!
Important note: I normally run, walk, work out a lot, but hurt my food and now I'm just doing stretches and workouts where I don't use my feet at all. This is causing my body to be so restless. Speaking of rest... been woke up every night several times due to to several random reason.
I WFH and my whole family has been home which I love... it's just the interruptions and extra noise along with supporting this turn over has left me with decision fatigue and hardly any patience. My brain literally feels like mush and my body feels like it needs to run 5 miles.
How do balance everything and heal my body? I want to be a better mom and have more to give in this season.

I'm so glad there is a mini fish pond group!
We are running two separate 25 gallon ponds. We have the whole set up, filter, live plants, heater ( as needed), etc. The ponds have metal mesh coverings to prevent birds from picking them out. We have had fish/plant ponds before, but these will be our first ones at our new/current home.
One pond will likely hold a male betta OR a female sorority. Now I'm struggling to decide what fish to put in the other one. We could do another betta set up OR we could do something else. Leaning towards something else!!! The more I search for options the more undecided I become.
What would you do? What do you recommend?
