I had a dream. Someone invited me down a well. He said its a popular spot and people go down there regularly, so there is no doubt its safety. We descended and I found myself in a spacious underwater cave, its not filled with water. It was pretty, with traces of ruined civilization.

I asked him, how do I get back to the surface? He pointed at a pair of oxygen tanks and gas mask and told me I need to swim up a hole. Using those. its quite spacious hole. I checked the hole, to see if I could swim to the surface, without gear. I could at first, but... several apparitions (ghosts) appeared and scared me, making me lose my breath.

I returned to retrieve the gear, encountering a ghost, but she did not attack me, only asking for help. When i returned there were more people there than usual. Some showing stress and fatigue. I hurried, the oxygen is running out and these people panicking and huffing oxygen isnt making it easier.

I arrived there only to see someone else grabbing the remaining gear, my last hope for escape. My last moments in the dream were my vision turning blue and black as the oxygen ran out and I start seeing more ghosts in my peripheral vision.

Im not really good at explaining. But... does anyone have a similar dream? What could it mean?
