Can’t comment because AO3 says it’s spam
Hi! I have been motivated by some authors here saying that they would like more comments sometimes to keep writing, even if small comments. So I have been taking the time to do so on the fics I liked (I used to mostly give kudos), but it’s the third time now that I’ve tried to write a single sentence comment like “I’m happy you’re back! Keep writing I enjoy this fic.” But AO3 keeps blocking it saying it’s spam when I am definitely not a bot 😏
Did it happen to some of you as well?
It’s really not motivating me to keep commenting. Authors keep complaining about actual bot comments (that are apparently approved by AO3) but when I (a real reader) try to comment I cannot…
PS: I do write more specific comment or in-depth ones on the chapter I really liked but was just trying to write more to encourage the authors and can’t always write something very long.
