What level of adult hockey should I play?
Hey y’all, I am a 29 year-old who recently go a job with weekends off for the first time and I am really considering joining a beer league.
I grew up and played hockey at a peewee level up until about 2nd grade. Took skating lessons growing up, I am a confident but not great skater. I can do crossovers and skate backwards and all that. I am in reasonably good shape and don’t get gassed super quickly.
My question is, if I’m in Orlando, Florida, which is not a hockey market, which league should I go to? E League is described as beginners, which I guess I would consider myself one since I haven’t played in forever. D League is described as “can skate with your head up and skating is natural to you”
Idk since it has been so long I don’t want to just dive into a league where I’ll be totally outmatched but I also don’t want to join a league in which I will clearly be better than everyone else. What do y’all think?
