I ordered a rack and a D-fuse seat post mount (from Giant) for an upcoming bike trip. But seems the D-fuse mount is super loose on the seat post. Even if i fully tighten the bolts (not shown in the pictures), it still sits way too loose. Was thinking to just put some sort of tape or fabric in between to get it to sit tightly. Only thing is, the seat post is carbon if I’m not mistaken. So wanted to get some advice before winging it 😅

The bike is a Giant fastroad SLR1
