I've come across a whole lot of awesome access cab storage solutions and drew up some plans based off one from this sub: https://www.reddit.com/r/Tacomaworld/s/rZ2XygbCYL

Super thankful coming across that awesome build. Especially just in time for a long road trip so I'm stoked to be testing it out more. I was able to map everything out, take some measurements and build a version of it. It's definitely not perfect since I'm not a woodworker but it's together and holds everything I need.

I could have gone with some thinner plywood for the bones of it ( I used 1/2") so it's quite heavy. I went down to 1/4" to build the boxes but the ply from home depot bows a bit so again they're not perfect.

Things I didn't account for were the curve of the middle arm rest up front so I had to jigsaw a curve into that to get a better fit. I also ended up having to raise the piece that the boxes are stored under to get a better fit there and make it level with the back hinged compartments.

I went with a 2 in one black stain poly from Behr and printed the original handles from the OG post and ended up putting springs (from a harbor freight pack) in them.
