Finally got around to replacing the spark plugs on my 2021 Mazda 3 Skyactiv‑G 2.0 and honestly… it was much easier than I thought it would be.
Biggest hurdle was actually tracking down the right spark plug socket, but once I had that, the job itself was super straightforward. Took me about 30-40 minutes and that’s with it being my first time doing it.
A local mechanic had quoted me 80 quid for labour , so definitely glad I gave it a go myself.
The old plugs had done 73,932 miles, so well overdue?
If anyone’s on the fence about doing this job themselves, I’d say go for it. Basic tools, a bit of patience, and you’ll save yourself some cash 👍
