We have not done a retrieval yet, but prior to going into it I am trying to gather as much info as I can. The idea of a modified natural transfer is very appealing to me & I know it’s ultimately something that will be decided with my dr; but curious for those of you who went that route, why? Did you have a positive experience? Was there any push back to do fully med?
Background for my husband (27) and I (26): almost 2yr TTC, 4 medicated unmonitored, 6 fully medicated IUIs, not a single positive in almost 2 yrs, “unexplained infert”. thanks guys 😊

Hi all, would like opinions on if I am overthinking this or if I should look elsewhere for said procedure.
Husband (27) and I (26) have been TTC for almost 2 years. 2 unmonitored clomid cycles & 6 fully medicated Letrizole IUIs. Not seen a single positive in these almost 2yrs.
All blood work/genetics/semenanalysys etc have brought us to the grand dx of unexplained infertility (yippie). Before we move into IVF spending a million dollars & my sanity, I am really intent on crossing all the T’s and dotting all the I’s & I’ve seen a hysteroscopy recommended on here several times. Regardless, we wouldn’t be doing IVF w current clinic, I just figured since I was already established it would be easiest to get one done with them. Well I asked and the RE said bc my linings have always been nice thickness, trilaminar and saline sonogram (ab a yr ago) are all great that a hysteroscopy would show the same that everything is great and it would be a waste (of time?, money?? im the one volunteering to pay!!) to do. Of course I’d be happy if everything came back looking great, thats not a waste of anything to me it would be a wonderful peace of mind; but what if it doesn’t and there’s something we’re missing? She said that doing IVF will “tell us more” bc we can see the eggs outside the body, how they fertilize, grow to blast etc. Is she right, and I’m just thinking too much into this?
