Playing in my first tournament

I decided to sign up for my first tournament in a couple of weeks. I’ve played sports my whole life and stay pretty calm in tense situations, but I wanted to know if anyone had any advice for me outside of how to stay calm under pressure. As well as if there is a “dress code” that I should try and adhere to.

It’s an A-tier event (AM only). I know I need to get in the MA4 pool. Luckily it’s close to where I live and I’ve played some of the courses before so I have a loose idea. I still have 2 weeks to prepare and plan to get as many rounds in as I can. It’s at 3 different courses with 3 different rounds. It’s a 2 day event.

It’s the Kanawha Valley Regional for those who have played or know anything about it.

I’ve done a lot of field work at my house; thankfully I live on a farm, and I’ve gotten my drives with my mids pretty reliably to 300 feet. I’ve bombed my Nuke SS 450 a couple of times but normally hit the 400 mark.

I’ve always been a competitive person and want to try to (one day) play for some serious money. Any advice anyone has for me would be greatly appreciated!

Best round yet

Been getting a lot of my friends into playing as well. Found some nice open and short courses for them to play at with me. I have been just really trying to focus on my arm in my backhand throws. I was a switch hitter as a kid playing baseball, so I have a bad habit of dropping my back shoulder (any tips on that are welcomed; as well with my forehand). If anyone recognizes the course and needs a parter just let me know!
