Clomid or TRT for fertility in the long run
I (27m) have been on and off TRT for the last two years. My previous Endo prescribed me 70/week due to my levels being in the mid 100s. However, the prescription was never approved so I “self medicated “ with a good source. I cycled off 12 weeks ago to get my baseline tested with a new Endo since the old one left the practice. My level was 156. Since I am looking to have kids in a few years she prescribed me clomid instead of TRT. I am super nervous about taking it even though it is supposedly better for fertility in the long run. I could continue TRT since I have plenty on hand but I could also try the clomid.
My questions are:
Should I be concerned about the fertility on TRT?
I know everyone is different but is clomid worth trying with the potential side effects ?
